sootboot Posted January 22, 2007 Share Posted January 22, 2007 Hello This is what happens: First I installed 10.4.7 from the JaS dvd. I updated it to 10.4.8 using the eGWan_patch and before rebooting I deleted IOPCCardFamily.kext, ApplePCCardATA.kext, and ApplePCCard16ATA.kext because if I din't I got this "Unresolved kernel trap (cpu=0, type 14=page fault)" kernel panic. I allso added fsb=166 to the Boot.plist When I reboot after restoring permissions everything seems to be allright. Me happy (finaly the 8.8.1 kernel working).. But... when I reboot again I get the "Unresolved kernel trap (cpu=0, type 14=page fault)" kernel panic again :s What can I do to make it work everytime?
