Proof
Hi, I just installed MacOsX jas 10.4.8 on a config that looks like this: - A64 3500+ AM2 - Asrock AliveXfire (RTL8111B / ALC888) - Ati X850Pro (R480 core) My last mac was a sys 7.5.5 one so you cam imagine I'm not in my best shape when it comes to macs. Anyway, none of my HW was detected so I tried the installation kit ( http://www.installers.dl.am/ ). After reboot my video card got recognised as X800GTO (because of the core) but unfortunatelly I only see 2 vertical lines. Tried reboot, but same problem. How can I uninstall the drivers (the install proces was 4h long so some help would be great)? Thnx. macgirl
Boot with -s option, then mount -uw / then rm -fr /System/Library/Extensions/Natit.kext then rm /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache /System/Library/Extensions.mkext then reboot if you also want to remove the ATI kexts: rm -fr /System/Library/Extensions/ATI* Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39505-natit-uninstall/#findComment-283069 Share on other sites
Proof
Hi, Thnx for the info. Meanwhile I solved the problems deleting some of the natit files and forceing it not to load at start-up. Unfortunately I didnt manage to activate te QE/CI options, used koverg/callisto but only managed to change the resolution not the refresh rate...
