MasterM
Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum and I'm also new to OSX so I'm going to ask a really lame question (I searched for this through forum but I didnt find so pardon me if it's already answered somewhere else). I recently installed latest MacVidia drivers on my 10.4.6. I have a 17'' monitor so I selected 1152x864 resolution but I forgot to set a proper refresh rate first. Bang! Got black screen with a message from my monitor: "frequency out of range!". Is there any way to turn something like failsafe graphics mode on? Or to prevent macvidia drivers to load at boot time? I cannot use my osx cause it sets that damn resolution right after boot and I con that "frequency out of range" screen all the time. Please Help! Thank you. Litespeed
Yeah I've got the same problem. I set a refresh rate too high and now it boots into an "out of sync" screen on my LCD. I read somewhere about removing the files which hold the preferences (about 6 of them) but I could only find one of them on my computer.
