Excellent guide, but I encountered an issue. I installed it, with SSE3, and booted up, and it goes to 'Darwin loader', shows a bunch of scrolling text, then everything fades away except this text. After like 15 seconds, it reboots my machine. It never gets passed that.

Thanks guys, and great job on this whole thing. I hope you can help me.

If you can't read the error or whatever it is, here:

Darwin Kernal Version 8.4.1: Tue Jan 3 10:23:53 PST 2006; root:xnu-792.7.98.obj~1/RELEASE_I386

^^I think thats what it says.

Gfx: Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Chipset Family

Memory: 2 x 512 DDR2

HDD: 120 GB; I installed on a 90 gig partition, the other 30gigs are my windows.

I used the JaS dvd that includes the 10.4.6 combo update, SSE2, SSE3, AMD, and others. I don't know the total name, because I formatted my HD after I burned it to a disk. I'm going to try downloading the newest JaS dvd, but I just wanted to see if you guys could fix the problem on this.

Yeah try downloading the updated CD. Also if worse comes to worse install the patches and the work backwards (reinstall with less patches until you find the bad patch). Sure it may take awhile, but having OS X working is a sweet reward.

Also remember to download the PPF update.

And if you hurt that kitty I will find you and make sure you're computer won't boot OS X or XP ;-)
