Failure in AMD64 2800+ with K8N mobo

sys specs:

AMD64 2800+(754)

Asus K8N mobo

120GB SATA

80GB PATA

512mb ram

GeForce FX5200(AGP)

 

I was able to use the deadmoo image, but i am not able to start install from patched dvd, but not able to proceed. in graphical mode, the spin wheel rotates for about 2-3 sec's the a message to power off the system in shown.

 

when started in -v mode, i get the message 5 times

"SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE failed, ASC = 0x11, ASCQ = 0x00"

i also get : nfs_boot_init failed with 6

then it 'panicks'

 

i am clueless about what is going on.

can anyone suggest me the solution, as i want to install on my 80gb pata
