Hi, i am using a Pentium 4 Dual Core on the box says it runs at 533Mhz fsb, in Windows with cpu-z says fsb is 133. i modified the boot.plist and add fsb=133. but my computer is running a little slow, if i add fsb=266 computer runs smooth but all mac effects run in slow motion, why?

Also... if leave fsb=266 will this affect my computer? Because i don't want to overclock the system.

Osx specs:

- 10.4.8 Jas Intel Only DVD

- kernel: Darwin Kernel Version 8.8.1 (semthex) should i change it to myzar?

Comp specs:

Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-965p-DS3

Video: ATI Saphirre x1600 Pro 512 Mb

Please help, Thanks

Was there an original problem that caused you to change the boot.plist? CPU-Z may be incorrect, try other utilities.

I'd suggest to undo the changes to the boot.plist, and go into the BIOS settings, and reset it to factory settings. Can also check for BIOS updates in case it isn't recognizing your CPU.

I'd say to try fsb=533, but I don't know if there's an exact correspondance between that number and anything.
