Pietus
Hi all, I have a wireless card with the Ralink RT2500 chip set plugged in a pci-port. I installed the Ralink Mac drivers but they do not seem to work, I keep getting the following message in my system.log: kernel[0]: SYNC - ScanNextChannel() allocate memory fail and it does not connect to anything. Windows does, however, so I know there is wireless and the card is not broken. If I switch the radio off in the wireless utility, the messages dissapear too. Furthermore, OS X does not seem to recognize the card: "This computer does not appear to have any PCI cards installed." in the "about this mac"- window. Since it does not recognize my audio either -but it still works!- I do not know if I should pay much attention to this info... Anyone knows about a solution ? macgirl
Not yet. See the Hardware Forum, and X Labs Forum, there are some efforts to make it work.
