hemzet Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 (edited) Hi folks, Yesterday I installed JaS Release 10.4.7 on a Thinkpad T60p (Intel C2D T600, ATI FireGL 5250) from DVD. The setup ran fine and after about 30 minutes the system was successfully(?) installed. Unfortunately the system hangs at the grey apple screen every time I boot up from hdd. On some posts I read about installed patches during setup process. Are these musts? How can I got the Tige run on the system? Unfortunately the Kernel Update won't work, but therefore I'll installing the whole system again with the patched 10.4.8. Maybe with the new Kernel the system recognize the graphic and sound card correct. Hope so ! I guess sound and graphic will need some patching to work...just look in the genius section there are a LOT tutorials for all...good work!
