mark.spiro
Hi, I was wondering, I'm about to but my first Mac (MacBook Pro) and i live in England. I'm going to the states and plan on making use of the 2:1 $:£ ratio. My question is, ive heard that it has American preset settings. If this is a problem, can i reinstall the OS and chose to have the English one? Also, is Leopard expected any time soon, if it is, ill wait until it comes out. Thanks, Mark
munky
The official line from Apple on Leopard is 'Spring 2007', so i'd guess that counts as soon. An american Mac will have an american keyboard layout (not too terrible for a UK user, but different), and a US plug on the power supply (tho the PSU itself is universal - you'll need to get a new plug on it, or use an adapter). PS Can you pick me up a Mac Pro while you're there?
