3Flight Posted January 17, 2007 Share Posted January 17, 2007 I have ALC880 chip, and I tried to follow the instruction here, but I've found out that both strings were already correct from the beginning. But I have no audio and no devices in audio dropout in system profiler. I installed OS X with built-in audio switched off in BIOS, but now I turned it on and OS X still doesn't see it (Windows can see it). How to get it to work? I downloaded a file "ALC880:Azilla.Fix.v2.pkg" from Diaboliks website and installed the file but still no sound. What should I Do?
