jtwh20
I listen to radio stations online, that require windows media. Flip4Mac allows me to listen, but it doesn't seem to know where the stream ?markers? are: for example this AM, i loaded up the station and it was playing guns n roses - sounded great there is a progress bar that shows where you are in the stream next song - zz top - now here is where is gets wierd - it plays zz top til the progress bar is all the way to the right, then jumps back to the left and starts playing GNR again - it looks like it is building up this buffer, and then reverting back to it - For whatever reason it works correctly on windows - just plays continuously. I have tried with some success to put the media stream url into VLC where it plays as it should with no repeats / rewinds but I cannot use VLC with my XM subcription as it it password protected. Anyone who has seen this and has a solution, it would be greatly appreciated, as the only way it can listen correctly now is with parralells running XP and media player - seems like a waste of computing power for music....
