skumix
***sry, seems like the wrong forum. This should probably be in Windows + VMWare + Hackintosh*** Hi. I have quite a problem, and I hope someone is willing to help me out I had two partitions on my hard-drive. One for Windows XP Pro, and one for a Vista beta. Booting worked fine with the Vista boot menu. Vista expired, and I decided I wanted to try out OSX86.. So I formatted the Vista partition, and installed OSX86 (which works fine, except for ethernet, but i'm working on that ) The problem now is, that I can't boot into XP anymore! The Darwin bootloader works, and I can select the XP partition. Problem is, that the Vista bootloader still is active! Any way I can remove this, without having to reinstall XP? (bear in mind that i can't make any changes to the XP partition from OSX because the windows partition isn't FAT32.. ) Any help is greatly appreciated Edited January 16, 2007 by skumix Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38881-boot-problems/ Share on other sites
