jkh13
I followed the guide at http://www.osxx86.info/installguide/installguide.htm and got to the part with partitioning the "af" hard drive using disk utility, however when I click partition it says that all data on all volumes will be deleted. Is there anyway to avoid this as I want to keep my windows install as well? I am installing using the JaS 10.4.7 disk using a single 120gb hard drive. partition 1 : 6gb, recovery partition, primary 2: 36gb windows 3: af 7 gb 4: logical partition 60gb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38797-partitioning-trouble/ Share on other sites
theTank
I assume you are talking about step 5? "make sure you have enough unallocated disk space after your first primary partition" is the key phrase. You have to use the unallocated portion of your drive. If you already have all of the free space partitioned and formatted then it won't work like this guide describes.
