iWizzard Posted January 15, 2007 Share Posted January 15, 2007 (edited) Hi tying to insall Mac-OS-X-10.4.7-AMD.Intel-(JaS)-ISO-Repack on my Pc but it hangs when isntaling most of the OS, it hangs when saying "installing email" with JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3 it wont even start to install just alot of text. My spec is here (shuttle) and below: CPU: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.60GH (SSE2/HT) Grafic: NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 Hardrive: SATA (sins it start to install I asume this isent the problem, or can it be?) Tried to find a solution in the forum with no luck, hopfully someone here can help. coelomate1 Posted January 15, 2007 Share Posted January 15, 2007 I don't know much about your setup ( I read it, but I don't remember seeing much about an Intel 865 board) Have you tried the "tubgirl" DVD, I used the JaS 10.4.7 and it kinda worked... had to do a lot of extra stuff in terminal etc, but the tubgirl DVD had me 100% working right off of the disc! I'd give it a shot... I think it is for both AMD and Intel. Installed but faild after showin alot of text ending with: Localhost mDNSresponder: Culd not read user-specefied local... ...Bmacintoch-00,81b8889F7.local lb insted Will try tubgir later if no one give me a tip. edit: hmm cant seem to find an tubgirls version for intel. does it eaven exist?
