RahamanPatrick
Thanks! How about the sound card and SATA HDD? People have been telling me SATA HDDs don't work with OSx86. Also, I haven't seen my motherboard listed anywhere in the forums, will it work? (The only reason I'm not trying it at the moment is the torrent is only at 65% and I don't want to screw up my computer. gotoh
SATA works on intel chipset, not on NVIDIA chipset. Sound could work, ALC88x codecs usually work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38642-pentium-d-820-osx86-install/#findComment-275824 Share on other sites
RahamanPatrick
OK, thank you very much, my chipset is Intel so I guess that means it will work. Once I get OSx86 installed I'll try those sound drivers. I'm also not 100% sure on how to install Natit, but I'm guessing it won't be that hard. I'll think about that when I come to it. It can be installed from the GUI with the ~Neo installer right?
