So the glorious new egg is dispatching me a 320gig perpendicular recording Seagate drive, and I want to do a fresh install on a partition of that wonderful peace of technology. So you can see my tag below with my system specs. I have XP loaded on my Raptor drive with NTFS, no chance changing anything on that. I have the 250gig cleaned out with 120gigs free space all NTFS partition. Meanwhile the 200gig drive has had its house cleaned and backed up down to 100 gigs of occupied space. SO here is what I was planning. I want to have all of the larger non system drives, IE every drive but what XP is installed on and OS X installed on visible and writable by both OS's. So here was my idea, I was going to Format the new drive with a 60 gig HSF partition, and then the remaining space in FAT 32, then transfer everything from the 200 gig to the 320 2nd partition in FAT32. Format the 200 gig with FAT32, then transfer the remaining data from the 250 to the 200, format that in FAT32 and have that is more empty space. So what are the wholes in my idea? Is this stupid? I want to be able to edit photos in both OS's. I like playing with CS3 beta, its awesome. And now that I am getting some more HD space, I can play with adobe premier HD some more. Thank you all again for all your support. You guys ALL ROCK. JAS, TITAN, RamJet, and everyone else that i didn't name, you guys are my hero.
