mlmorg Posted January 13, 2007 Share Posted January 13, 2007 Hi, Just wondering why you can't add chain0 to boot.ini in XP before OSX install and then restart and install OSX so that you have no trouble having the dual boot once OSX is installed? Does it create some sort of error? If you have two hard drives though, one for XP and one for OSX and you add chain0 to XP (and set up the OSX drive for install) then shut off and remove the XP HD and then install OSX to the other HD and then shutdown and plug the other HD back in...then wouldn't the dual boot work right away?
