All was going well, until the final step, the one that makes the changes permanent, running 'kextcache -e.' I got this error- warning: kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/AppleStorageDrivers.kext is missing dependencies (including in cache anyway; dependencies may be available from elsewhere) kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/Lexmark X422.kext is not authentic (check ownership and permissions); skipping it and any plugins archive would be too large; aborting When I restarted, audio didn't work anymore, until I reloaded the kext from terminal.
