Rob P
I finally had things the way I wanted and figured I would try to fix my wireless. I have a dual-boot with Jas 10.4.8 and XP MCE. I booted into Windows and decided to try MacDisk as I had heard from another post would allow me to modify my Mac partition in Windows. Well it worked, I was able to see the drive and put files into it. I deleted the kext for my wireless that was already there and put the modified one for my card. Afterwards I reboot and after the Acronis boot loader boots it tries to load Mac Osx but fails and stays on a black screen with the blinking underscore in the top left corner. I rather not have to reinstall over what I have so any help is appreciated. My Laptop: Dell e1705/9400 Core 2 duo T7200 (one core disabled in bios) 120gb 5400rpm split into 1 60gb HFS+ and 1 NTFS 2gb ram geforce 7900gs(full support was nice in 10.4.8) Network was fine unsure of type wireless is a dell wireless 1390 WLAN mini-card If you need any other info let me know.
