ergosteur
I think i've searched everywhere, and could not find a solution. does anyone have Logitech USB speakers working in hackintosh? they're supposed to be OSX native according to Logitech's website, but when i plug them in all that works is the volume/mute controls. Apparently you have to enable them in System Prefs, but they're not listed, there's only AC97 Audio (PCM). have tried installing the JaS SoundBlaster USB pkg, no success help please! thanks. -M Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38284-logitech-usb-speakers/ Share on other sites
ergosteur
Sorry, it actually does work with the SoundBlaster USB pkg, just had to reboot a couple times. one thing though: the volume and mute controls on my keyboard and on the speakers themselves still control my built in laptop/AC97 speakers. anyone know how to fix this? k3n
I know this is an old thread, but it was the first place I ended up searching for a solution. My solution was to install 'logitech control center.' Personally, I hate having to install software for a pair of $15 speakers, but it worked. Here's a link: http://preview.tinyurl.com/2qcypy Just hop over to logitech, download, install, reboot. I have an Applications directory in my home folder, but you could put it anywhere. Here are the three commands I used in terminal: mv /Users/username/Desktop/lccsomething.zip /Users/username/Applications/. cd /Users/username/Applications open lccsomething.zip Good Luck!
