Soündless Posted January 9, 2007 Share Posted January 9, 2007 my uncle is considering buying a mac, but he has a very good network running at his house (so i think). he has this network setup so that he can search through his secritary's compy and retrieve files. i belirve you can do this mac to mac, but can you do this mac to pc? DiaboliK Posted January 12, 2007 Share Posted January 12, 2007 just figure out the name of the network he has setup then goto finder>network and let it grab all directories on the network double click on the his network, then login. usually its WORKGROUP on normal installs without being changed. hope thgat helps a bit.
