I have Dell Latidude D620. I managed to successfully install 10.4.5 after I couldn't get 10.4.8 to work as it kept asking me to restart. So I went back and reinstalled 10.4.5. First time it booted after the install, it recognized my wireless card. I was able surf the net and all. When I booted the second time around, my wireless connection stopped working. I search the forum where couple of people had the same problem and fixed it themselves but they did not share how they fixed it.

I would really appreciate if anyone can help a guy out here.

My Specs are:

Dell Latitude D620

1.85 gigahertz Intel Core Duo

100 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity

1 GB Memory

Broadcom NetXtreme 5752 Gigabit Controller

Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card

Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth Module

Hi, I am using D610, and installed 10.4.7

Now the wireless 1370 is on.

copy the file"/library/preferences/systemconfiguration/networkinterfaces.plist" to desktop, then open with notepad, find the area like this:

<array>

<dict>

<key>BSD Name</key>

<string>en0</string>

<key>IOBuiltin</key>

<true/>

<key>IOInterfaceType</key>

<integer>6</integer>

<key>IOInterfaceUnit</key>

<integer>0</integer>

<key>IOLocation</key>

<string></string>

<key>IOMACAddress</key>

<data>

AAAAAAAA

</data>

swap "<integer>en0</integer>" with "<integer>en1</integer>"

also "<integer>0</integer>" with "<integer>1</integer>"

save the file, replace the file where you copyed.

after restart, open network, u will find your airport, that works for me!

Good luck!
