I messed around with the Koverg patch and callisto drivers for a couple of days with my Radeon x700 Pro GFx Card...This is what I came upon:

I managed to get osx to read the card and see that its a x700.

I managed to unlock every resolution, they all worked (up to what your monitor supports)

I tried and tried but could not get QE/CI support, after trying some more I had a system crash and had to reinstall OS X.

I made alot of progress and came along way so if and when I figure out the solution I will post my findings once again so everyone with an x700 can get it fully working. As of right now I'm stumped, and I know the answer is right infront of me, I know it's possible. I have a feeling it's a line in a kext file. I'll keep working on it.

Only some of x700 cards work.

Looks like that cards having chip M26 instead of usual RV410 are not working with any solutions.

But i'm pretty sure that if it is not a Mobility card than u can get it working with natit and/or Callisto.

I have RV410 in mine, and I tried for weeks to get mine to work. This is as far as I got:

-Support for all resolutions

-QE/CI enabled

-Massive amounts of screen tearing, making OS X unusable

-Mouse tearing, which was moot compared to screen tearing.

I just used callisto b006 (b003 and b008 never worked for me) with the koverg patch to get the above results.

Good luck!
