aphexacid
Hi guys, first off let me start by i literally just found out about osx86 a few days ago. I'm not a pc newbie, but i am definitely mac illiterate. I have dvd version 10.4.6, an Inspiron 5100 w/ 2.66 P4, 1GB ram, radeon 7500C 32mb. My first install did not go well. i completely missed the 'customize' option during install, and after installation, it would freeze on the gray apple logo screen. Then i found out about setting the customize button. i thought that would do the trick, but now after getting the b0 error, and fixing it with the fdisk command, it goes trough like a million lines of "loading:hds blah blah blah", and then you think its gonna load, but nope. it restarts the computer, and keep s doing that over and over. I'm really sorry to post, someone has probably asked this before, but i swear i cant find anything. i have even tried search for specific 5100 problem, and to be honest, its seems like a pretty problem free install on 5100's. please guys, be gentle. i appreciate ANY info someone can toss my way! thanks again Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37868-inspiron-5100-keeps-rebooting-please-help/ Share on other sites
