GanTech
I have read the wiki and every post here on AC97 audio problems. I open info.plist in this path HD/system/library/extensions/appleac97audio.kext/contents/plugins/appleac97AudioIntelICH.kext/contents/info.plist I look in the info.plist and there are a bunch of vendor id's under NVIDIA. my id is 0x005910de It's there with a bunch of others. I do permissions but under system profiler no audio. So my question is : If I have an AMD asus board with realtek AC97 onboard audio, and the vendor id is present in the info.plist, why doesn't the plist load, and find my audio if the 0x005910de is present? Also, as an aside, I noticed another kext named AppleAC97AudioAMD.kext in the plugins folder. What is this kext for?? This problem is my last hurdle!!!
