I have a Dell Latitude D600 & I installed the Mac-OS-X-10.4.7-AMD.Intel-(JaS)-ISO-Repack iso. When the system comes up for the first time the wireless works but once i reboot i have nothing. I tried reinstalling the wireless package but that fails for some reason. Any input would help thanks!

Also, Once i have the 10.4.8 update, how do i apply the patch? I looked at the readme in the zip. It instructs to use make but when i drop down to a terminal, create the build the system tells me make is not a valid command. Is this the wrong way to apply the patch?

Upgrading to 10.4.8 consists of two parts. Upgrading the kernel and upgrading the other parts of the operating system. If you have a fast enough connection, I would recommend getting the new JaS DVD and upgrading from that as it would probably be simplest. Then if you have to reinstall in the future you can make it a fresh install instead of upgrading back up. However if you wish to do it the other way you will have to download the kernel from IRC and upgrade (look on the forum for proceedure). Then install the appropriate JaS 10.4.8 combo update.

I believe I read somewhere that there is a fully comprehensive update that does both at the same time, but I haven't ran across it as yet - but I haven't needed to search for it either, it may be out there.
