JustInSane Posted January 3, 2007 Share Posted January 3, 2007 (edited) I need to install Tiger on a B&W G3 (rev 1) because the Samsung ML-2010 drivers will not work on Jaguar. Jaguar is currently installed on it. When I run XPostFacto 4 get the dialog: "XPostFacto does not work with this model: Powermac1,1" The docs do not specifically state that B&W G3s are supported, but beige G3s are. I'm bummed, because I gave away my beige G3 figuring that the B&W was better, and more current. (In fact I had Tiger running on the beige G3.) Am I screwed? Suppose I get my hands on the beige G3 that I gave away. Could I install Tiger on a new HDD using the beige G3, then transfer the HDD to the B&W G3? UPDATE: Silly me. Tiger will install on a B&W G3 w/out XPostFacto. Apparently it's officially supported.
