I use Realtek 883 HDA and a old case with ac'97 front audio panel.

Realtek gives a sulotion in Windows xp: disable the device detecting in realtek configuration software, then the front earphone hole gives output.

What should I do in OSX? Now, the front audio out always keeps silent. :(

Try this!

Gigabyte's mainboards are designed following companies design-rules.

Each internal connector has the same pinning as on other boards.

Compare the pics.

Make your own wires if yours do not match.

The second pic shows the standard-layout of the internal AC97-Audio connector.

Taken from Asus ( the company I hate) but had the manual by the hand.

A litle bit of patchwork may do the trick.

But my GA-8945GMF did not route the audio signal to the internal connector.

The backside connectors had the signal output.

Now I'm fine with Intel.

Good luck!
