Abercrombi3 Posted January 3, 2007 Share Posted January 3, 2007 hey people downloaded the new 10.4.8 torrent off demonoid and burnt it, just tryed to install it and i get the white screen with the apple logo for about 3 secs then the screen goes black like the computer has reset, it then proceeds to load things from the cd (its got heavy activity with the cd like its reading it) but the screen stays black and doesn't change! please help i want to get my dell e1505/6400 with the new mac version!!!!! Abercrombi3 Posted January 3, 2007 Author Share Posted January 3, 2007 (edited) ok after what im seeing so far i think i may just go back to 10.4.6 its much more advanced (no setup issues, usb works, ethernet works etc.) if anyone knows how to fix these problems i may stay.... thanks anyways ppl edit: do you think re-installing with the mifiki or whatever kernal would help?
