packergeek
Ok my friend and I have spent about 15 hours in the last couple of days trying to get the osx10.4.7 and it has been nothing but problems. We get so close. I installed osx but everytime I start it says "disk boot error or no drive" so I believe that the my motherboard is not finding the install. So here is my question what is the best way to start from scratch. I mean everything from start to finish. What is the best and easiest way to either get it installed? Here is my specs Athlon 64 3200 Gigabyte sli motherboard Nvidia 6600 gt sli graphics card 1024 ddr 2700 memory 160 gig ide drive Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37339-noob-setup/ Share on other sites

cringemaster
Well, when starting you pc up, it should say something like "Press F8 to enter setup". do that and just select the drive you need to boot. You may also need a bootloader, like lilo or grub. Id google for help on that.
