Got OSX86 10.4.8 new Jas kernal disk to install on my DualVSTA Asrock board so there is progress but on the first reboot it goes to the darwin bootup Grey Apple Screen and then after a couple of minutes it comes up with the Three langauge OSX "The computer must be restarted" Failure screen with the Power button behind it. It just seems strange that everything installs without a hitch it seems but the first boot and restart boots after this that Power Button Restart screen keeps popping up. Anyone have any suggestions on what to look for or otherwise to get it to actually boot into OSX86 10.4.8? I have looked at the other faqs and havent found something that refers to this although the amount of information is vast on here. Is there something that I need to turn off in the bios or something that needs to be turned on? Is there some Kernal dependency that I need to pass at the F8 screen? I am getting to the point I think I will give up on getting the DualVsta board to work nicely and just get a 945 board or a 965 board for my Core2duo. duscar Posted December 30, 2006 Share Posted December 30, 2006 im having sort of the same probelm with 10.4.6, it installs and when i go to reboot it comes up with the gray screen that has the loading icon and then a stop logo comes up, whats the reason for this not working?
