javajunkie314
Whenever I try to run SheepShaver to install Mac OS 9 from the disk I burned from a Toast image of a retail disk, it ejects the CD it shows a floppy disk with a flashing question mark (?). The disk uses HFS and has Mac OS 9 drivers. What am I not thinking of?! Thanks a lot for any and all help. cat_7
Hi, I think that error is caused by the cd you created not being bootable by SheepShaver. You can try to make SheepShaver boot from the cd image by editing the prefs file with the GUI and enter the cd image as first entry in the volumes list. That would ensure the image you have is OK. How did you create the hard disk file OS9 will be installed on? If you created it through the GUI, then things will be OK. If you created it with DiskUtility, chances are you will get into trouble not being able to boot from it.
