No Network Card 10/100 Ethernet Other Control Devices Keyboard, Mouse, Remote Control Preloaded Operating System Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 Sound Card High Definition Audio Speakers No System Bus 2000MHz Warranty 1 Year Limited Hardware I guess in a way I am a n00b, I picked up this machine yesterday and I tried all night to install, starting with 10.4.6 with no success. As far as I can tell this machine should scream! I installed a Seagate Baracuda 7008.3? 300G ATA HD but it does not recognize the drive in the disc utility (partition step), however, it did recognize the drive when it was in an external USB case. The disc utility does recognize the 300G SATA drive, but will not allow me to partition it to 8G for the install..... Bottom line, I am upset, frustrated and tired ... I really need some help here guys!! Is there a proper step by step for an install on a dual core AMD machine?? Thanks, all help is appreciated...
