Boopop
I have a pci-e Nvidia 6800 Vanilla. I've tried 10.4.8 AMD Final, with NV40 support (titan) and it failed to boot. I've then proceeded to install OSX, instead without NV40 support, and it does boot. Then I tried MacVidia. Right after the booting process indicates it's using macvidia drivers, I get white text scrambled accross the screen. Any ideas what to try? I thought possibly installing titan after a sucessful boot of osx, or wouldn't this work? Thanks, Boopop I have a DualSata939 ASRock motherboard, AMD643000+, X-Fi Soundcard (as if that could have anything to do with it ), 1.25Gb of ram, 2 hard disks, and a 20" Dell FPW2005 monitor.
