GujuLvr Posted December 27, 2006 Share Posted December 27, 2006 after soo many tries getting my QE/CI to work with jas dvd i gave up and tried tubgirl. in 1st shot i got everythin to work but not my SATA hd? is there any way i could get it to work? i have nForce 4 chip Thank you in advance! Overdriven Posted December 27, 2006 Share Posted December 27, 2006 nForce 4 SATA is currently disabled, because Apple never wrote a full driver for it. Rammjet Posted December 27, 2006 Share Posted December 27, 2006 It may have worked, but if you took a few 500 MB files and checksummed them (MD5 or SFV or other), and then made copies of them, and then checked the checksums, you would find one or more to be corrupt. You don't want to continually corrupt the files on your drive until the files are all unusable. Small files don't often corrupt but larger ones do. That is why there is no Hackintosh solution for nF4 SATA - no one has solved the corruption problem after many attempts.
