trav1085 Posted December 27, 2006 Share Posted December 27, 2006 I have the 3-CD set of Mac OS X 10.3 Panther. I burn the 3 DMGs to CD-Rs and went to install on my G3/400MHz iMac (with 256MB RAM). I start up in OS 9.2.2 and the CD appears on my desktop, I select "Install Mac OS X" and press restart. It gives an error message saying "Startup disk cannot select the install CD as the startup disk. Error code -2". I also tried restarting by holding C and even selecting through holding Option. I have manually went into startup disk and the disc is grayed out.
