Hi everyone, first post!!

PROBLEM 1

-I just installed Mac OS X Jas 10.4.7, got some troubles at the beginning but I realized I had to customize the installation and add the amd patches alone, which also meant that I needed to reformat the destination drive to avoid activation of the "upgrade" option.

-Cool, It did boot but got thrash graphics, so I read the forums, and found that using -x "Graphics Mode"="1024x768x32@85" could help, since I've got an ATI 9800. Well, that works, not at 85Hz, but it works nice and I REALLY LOVE THE OS X INTERFACE :happymac::laser::D. Also Blazing fast.

Then, somewhere in tips and tricks I found "Tired of typing -x "Graphics Mode"="1024x768x32" everytime you boot? This is for you!" (http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Tips_And_Tricks#Messing_with_the_boot_options)

Excellent, that's for me! bring me that nice look again every boot without typing effort! I followed the instructions step by step. It didn't work, thrash graphics again... what did I miss? ok, started to think, read the forums. Uhmm, the -x flag to the kernel that could it be, I added it below another Kernel Flags and other stuff. Uhmm no luck.

Then I found people who got a 9800 pro working using the ATIRadeon9700 kext. I added my dev and ven id to the info.plist. Still no luck, thrash graphics again....

I don't even need 3D support, I just want to automatically activate -x "Graphics Mode"="1024x768x32" everytime I boot... is that possible? why the Boot.plist modification did not work...?

Thanks a lot....!!!

PROBLEM 2

Don't think is Mac Os oriented, but probably somebody can help me on this strange one:

I've got 2 SATA drives, and I loaded them as RAID, I use them for my actual windows installation, not mac os. I don't really need to make them work on the mac os x, but everytime I boot, Mac os X tells me I insterted 2 hard drives but that it couldn't install the appropiate software for it (ignore, cancel, etc). Interesting enough, I've got a similar message under Windows XP (which is running fine and blazing fast on them anyway)

My machine:

Asrock K8Upgrade NF3 Nforce 3 chipset. with 939 upgrade module.

Athlon 64 939 3000 Venice core SSE3

ATI Radeon 9800SE (under windows, I've got the hacked driver to transform it 9800SE -> 9800.)

1GB of ram, 2xSeagate 7200.9 drives, 2x IDE drives (one is used to hold os X)

Thanks in advance !!! :D
