-TiLT- Posted December 26, 2006 Share Posted December 26, 2006 Your bios has a during-boot-bootdevice-menue I think. Most have, like pressing F8 or F12 during bios-messages. So just to be sure, unwire the OSX-HD while installing XP and rewire it, when you´re done. Then choose via bios, from which HD to start of. That is the way I do it, and it is idiot-safe. -TiLT- Posted December 26, 2006 Share Posted December 26, 2006 I do not know, if the chain0 method works, but what will work is the bootloader from eXtended fdisk. Just put it on the HD that is configured as primary boot device in your bios. It is a small and uncomplicated, easy-to-remove-bootloader that is freeware.
