Jasper Johnson
I have deadmoo running on a sse2 pc, i got it to work very good and then i forgot to turn off automatic updates and it installed a newer quicktime and itunes, after that dvd player, itunes, quicktime dont run, i cant get vlc player to work, and when i try to open the mounted firefox image it crashes and finder restarts, and safari crashes on all sites except a few like google? I dont want to reinstall deadmoo again (takes too long). ive tried installing the maxxus 0.5 patch and it didnt help so any suggestions would be helpful (except for telling me to get a newer osx version, ive delt with it enough on a real mac that i dont want to deal with it again, i dont care about all the new wizbangs of the newer os's i just like haveing it do simple tasks and can run unix apps) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36771-application-and-system-crashes/ Share on other sites

Rammjet
You will be reinstalling again. Consider using something newer than Deadmoo which is....dead. Apple changed OSX starting with 10.4.3 and as a result, most new apps will not run on Deadmoo and very few people here remember how to support Deadmoo. Download a 10.4.6, 10.4.7 or 10.4.8 install DVD.
