Hello everyone and Merry Christmas!

Once upon a time, I had Mac OS X 10.4.7 installed from a USB-ODD to - I think it might have been a purple jmb363-sata-port, but anyway, it booted only from USB-HDD. Way too slow, graphics 1024*768 (too little for 19"), etc.pp. No fun.

My biggest problem always was: I'm using ICH8R for a 2-SATA-HDD-Intel-Matrix-Raid. And I don't want to mess with it. Important Data, 2 XPs, one VISTA, please, don't tell me to switch ICH8R from RAID to AHCI-Mode in the Bios of my Mainboard.

Everything else doesn't matter, here my equipment:

Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6

- ICH8R with 6 SATA Ports, RAID-Mode, two HDDs on Port 4 and 5

- Port 0-3 Native OR Lecagy Mode (as you wish)

- JMB363 with 2 SATA and 1 IDE Port, IDE/AHCI/RAID-Mode possible

1 80GB-IDE-HDD for Mac OS

1 USB-ODD

1 SATA-ODD

1 IDE-ODD

1 IDE->SATA Bridge

1 IDE->USB Bridge

I dream of pressing F12 (Boot Menu) while booting, select the 80GB-Disc and start Mac OS X 10.4.8 with 8.8.1 Kernel and a working X1300 Pro. Is there any chance I can make it via the JMB-Controller?

Thanks for any hints, any advice, and tips and any links to other threats which will help to solve my problems :-).

PS: if your first hint is the JMB-Patch from demonoid - please tell me from which ODD to which HDD I should install, with which BIOS-Settings!

I did it. ;):thumbsup_anim: :thumbsup_anim:

But JMB is terribly slow :-( (10MB/s). Strange, it was fast in the beginning, one or two reboots and suddenly it was slow. I didn't change anything.

Anyway, I can't believe it works. You guys are amazing. I donated to the project. Thanks to Jas, Pion, Semthex, and Steve Jobs.
