tendycq Posted December 25, 2006 Share Posted December 25, 2006 ghosted a copy of working 10.4.8 to my laptop changed the kernel with sse2 fix for my centrino dothan Delete IOPCCardFamily.kext and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext replaced AppleACPIPlatform.kext, AppleAPIC.kext, IOACPIFamily.kext IOAudioFamily.kext IOATAFamily.kext but it cant boot then it told me that "AppleIntel PIIXPATA:ICH4 ATA/100 (CMD 0x1f0 CRT 0x3f4 IRQ14 BM0x100)" my laptop can run 10.4.6 and the IOATAFamily comes from i10.4.6 whats wrong with it? the kernel? the kext or anything else? shall i replace all kexts to older ones?
