mossom Posted December 23, 2006 Share Posted December 23, 2006 Hi new to the forum but I was able to install the copy fine but was getting no sound. After reading up on problems with ac97 audio, i reformatted, put my fresh copy of XP, formatted patitions etc. using jas 10.4.7 tutorial, went to reinstall of boot dvd and just hangs on spining gear startup screen and progresses no further. Any help or suggestions to try would be appreciated. possible change in BIOS. the only change I made was to try to enable the audio instead of (auto) in bios but have tried both ways since then.
