toddicus
I just got a New Sony Handycam with AVCHD and wanted to know if y'all know of any OS X Applications that can handle this video Type?? Not yet I don't believe. But apple is huge on H.264 (AVC) so it's reasonable to suggest that they will support it as soon as they can. Also panasonic is one of the companies supporting it and apple is good with working on getting protocalls working through panasonci (like DVCPROHD over firewire). If anyone knows of anything let us all know, I'm interested in these cameras. Mils - how is the quality? The idea is that AVCHD will replace HDV, although it's more complex compression it's just so much more efficient. Mils
The quality is absolutly amazing i love the camera, its got great functionality is light weight and everything. The quality is great with the right DVD's, aka Sony Handycam DVD -R DL which gives you the most recording space cause it is dual layer.
