xplizid
The eject button on the object bar does nothing. It just sits there, whether i have a disc in or not. i click it but nothing highlights or happens. Is there a way to remove it, make it become active? Casey M
i dont know why it doesnt work but it does for me. to get rid of it go into the keyboard and mouse settings in system preferences and there should be a check box. Proteo
ObjectBar is a program used to simulate OS X's Finder bar in Windows. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36403-eject-option-on-object-bar/#findComment-259007 Share on other sites
Guest bikedude880
ObjectBar is a program used to simulate OS X's Finder bar in Windows. What does that even have to do with what he's talking about? RTFP! Rammjet
Try clicking on the object you want to eject and then click on the Eject button. Or, press and hold the F12 key. Another way to get rid of it is to hold the Command key (Alt on some computers) and use the mouse to drag the Eject button off the menu bar. Proteo
What does that even have to do with what he's talking about? RTFP! (Read the f***ing post) Take some less coffee dude, there's no need to be coarse. Since xplizid call it "object bar" and there's a windows program that does something very similar, I assumed he was talking about that, so my comment was towards Casey's reply. Now, xplizid, you won't find any check box in Keyboard/Mouse preferences (at least there's none in mine). To get ride of it, just drag the icon off the bar while you keep Option pressed.
