I own acronis disk director suite, I have an empty 80gb external drive I'm trying to install on...can someone go through the steps with me? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks. intrax Posted December 20, 2006 Share Posted December 20, 2006 Well it's really easy... start Acronis Disk Director...create a minimal 10 GB partition...change partition type to AF (it says ShagOS or something like that)... commit changes... quit windows... start osx installer... choose disk util from menu and erase partition formatting it with HFS+ journalled extended. That's it... should now be selectable as destination for osx86 to be installed upon...Success !
