10.4.6 Installs Fine Bt no Boot?

I am using a Dell XPS600 P4-3.2Ghz 2GB RAM.

 

I had installed 10.4.6 on an external 150GB USB Drive and everything worked fine.

 

Until..

 

I accidentally messed up the partition table and everything went poof!

 

I re-formmated the external drive and reinstalled 10.4.6 with same options as before.

 

Install seemed to go fine and asked to reboot at end of process.

 

When I tryand boot it cannot find a bootable system.

 

If I boot with the install CD and use the startup drive, it does not allow me to select my external drive.

 

I connected the drive to a macbook to view the contents and all appeared to be there.

 

Any ideas or questions?
