Rammjet
What packages did you choose in the Customize window during installation? http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...ost&id=4499 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36279-installation-went-well-but-cant-boot/#findComment-258076 Share on other sites

Rammjet
Try it one time with only the combo update and sse2. You can add in the others later. If you want, you can "Skip" the part of the installation where it checks your DVD since it already did that once. Rammjet
While in OSX, insert the DVD and let it mount on the Desktop. In the DVD, follow this path: /System/Installation/Packages. Find the package you want and double-click it. When done, go to Terminal: cd /System/Library sudo rm -rf Extensions.mkext Extensions.kextcache (-- give password --) sudo chown -R root:wheel Extensions/* <-- don't forget slash and asterisk Eject the DVD and then reboot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36279-installation-went-well-but-cant-boot/#findComment-258156 Share on other sites
