Dj Keyz
I have everything working except bluetooth and iServices with multiple smbios changes (while logged out, cleared all caches and fresh installs) Bluetooth worked with OCLP even airdrop with BCM943602CDP. Now that I switched to "Apple Broadcom Wi-Fi Companion" Broadcom FullMAC Wi-Fi support bluetooth is disabled. AppleVTD is enabled no kp's at all. I know its something small I've overlooked lol. Any help is appreciated. Edited January 15 by Dj Keyz 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362212-no-bluetooth-tahoe/ Share on other sites

Your BCM943602CDP has native bluetooth support. Maybe there is something wrong with your USB-Port, USB connection or USBMap.kext (USBConnector -> 255, usb-port-type -> 255)? deeveedee
@Dj Keyz it is a good idea to include your EFI (Open Core or CLOVER) when posting questions about possible problems with your configuration. You'll find that the responses to your questions will typically have fewer guesses and more observation-based recommendations, because others can inspect your EFI and offer suggestions. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362212-no-bluetooth-tahoe/#findComment-2846459 Share on other sites

Yes I meant to include that, but it got late before I got time to debloat it. Sorry about that. Just to have a native build and test out what works best overall because both are in testing stages. I used oclp 3.0.0. I remapped the usb connection because I switched from the fenvi to the BCM943602CDP. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362212-no-bluetooth-tahoe/#findComment-2846470 Share on other sites

If so, you can stay now with the BCM943602CDP and test all three available Wi-Fi methods .. Update: I just reviewed the USBMap.kext from the EFI-Folder you uploaded above, and something doesn't look right. You have 15 HS ports defined and no SS ports at all, and none of the HS ports is set to 255 (Internal) for Bluetooth. With this USBMap.kext, your USB ports and Bluetooth will never properly work. Please redo your USB port mapping and make sure that: the corresponding SS ports are properly defined where applicable - each USB3.0 port must have one HS and one SS port the correct HS port used by the Bluetooth device is marked as Internal (255) Take as a reference my USBMap.kext for the ASUS X299 Sage 10G, implemented in my EFI-Folder distribution. I never ask for help so that post was a last ditch effort. I will try the other options when I get home. Just thought it was weird Bluetooth didn’t automatically enable being it’s a native card is all. On the other half of what’s going on, do you have any ideas what’s going on with iServices etc? I updated from Big Sur (iMac 1,1) where all services worked flawlessly. Changed to definition MacPro 7,1 (for Tahoe with fresh serial, mlb, uuid) logged out and removed from apple devices. I’ve cleared caches etc just can’t for the life of me get the services to activate. It’s definitely something with the smbios. The rom I used my Ethernet Mac and tried the bcm Mac with no prevail. carlo_67
sudo rm /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist sudo rm /Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.Bluetooth.* sudo pkill bluetoothd reboot, reset nvram and boot N: If you have mapped the USB port with smbios iMacPro 1.1, mapping for MacP 7.1 does not work. 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362212-no-bluetooth-tahoe/#findComment-2846516 Share on other sites

This was definitely the problem! Idk how I missed that but now thinking back, I cleared OC snapshot with propertree then made a new usbmap when I switched cards. I just got everything going and test with all 3 methods. Thank you to everyone 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362212-no-bluetooth-tahoe/#findComment-2846525 Share on other sites

Once you’ve sorted out the technical side of your setup, managing the business end of things is just as important, and I’ve personally found that handling payments via bank transfer through this platform is the most reliable way to keep international transactions fast and secure. Thanks! I've dealt with the same thing and this definitely helps. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362212-no-bluetooth-tahoe/#findComment-2846763 Share on other sites
