gapaer
Sometimes my macOS boots, but sometimes it doesn’t. After an NVRAM reset, it boots occasionally, but other times it doesn’t boot even after the reset. What might be the reason? CPU: Intel i5-12400F (Alder Lake, no iGPU) GPU: AMD RX 6600 (Navi23) Motherboard: Asus H610M-E Storage: NVMe SSD I've created efi using opencore simplify(sonoma) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1k-2t6xEVLfKQ2eFZpJm_MBbg4E2cow4Y/view?usp=sharing Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362025-black-screen-after-verbose/ Share on other sites
jlrycm
@gapaer I was quickly inspecting your EFI and noticed there are a few things missing in the folder and the config.plist. I would love to fix it but I’m away from the computer since it is a holiday in US. Consider reading the guide below which may help you quickly find what is missing or not properly defined by OpenCore Simplify. https://github.com/alyxandraio/OpenCore-Install-Guide/blob/alderlake/config.plist/alder-lake.md This Reddit post is also very helpful https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/s/BGBwsjXAyI The Dortania guide is usually the first start when troubleshooting https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/troubleshooting/troubleshooting.html#table-of-contents Edited November 27, 2025 by jlrycm 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362025-black-screen-after-verbose/#findComment-2844267 Share on other sites
