CoolCatSavestheCity Posted October 9, 2025 Share Posted October 9, 2025 Good afternoon, I managed to boot MacOS Sonoma into my Optiplex 9020 i7-4790 perfectly fine. I had no compatible GPU so I resorted to not using one. Fast forward a couple weeks and I decide to purchase an AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT for my build, seeing as it is compatible. I've spent the better part of 2 days attempting to get this thing to boot but I only get as far as the Apple logo. I can't even get anything to post to logs which means it's probably not even making it there. I've tried everything I know how to. I could really use some help.
